Outfit your Massachusetts lot, garage, or facility with durable, compliant parking signs. Start with the Massachusetts-specific handicap signs required here, then add the everyday signs every lot needs.
Built to meet Massachusetts requirements.
Massachusetts follows the federal ADA Standards for accessible parking, enforced alongside the state's own vehicle code and private-property towing law. Here is what every Massachusetts lot needs to post.
Every accessible parking space must display the federal "Reserved Parking" sign (MUTCD R7-8) showing the International Symbol of Accessibility. Van-accessible spaces need an added "Van Accessible" plaque, and the bottom of each sign must sit at least 60 inches (5 feet) above the ground so it stays visible above a parked vehicle.
To tow an unauthorized vehicle from private property in Massachusetts, the lot must post a compliant tow-away sign at each entrance under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 266 Section 120D, typically including the towing company name and phone number. Missing or non-compliant signage can void the tow.
